Building goes beyond bricks and mortar — it’s how we deliver lasting impact in the communities where we live and work. We’re committed to partnering with communities from Cape York to the Torres Strait and across regional Queensland, delivering meaningful employment, training, and infrastructure that support the long-term wellbeing of the places we work in.
With extensive experience in Indigenous communities, Bryant has structured its business to foster participation and opportunity. We continue to strengthen our approach to Indigenous engagement through collaboration with indigenous communities, businesses, councils and Traditional Owners.
We also maintain Local Industry and Indigenous Employment and Training Strategies focused on creating lasting employment, training and business outcomes through genuine collaboration.
Bryant is committed to advancing reconciliation and Indigenous participation across the construction industry. Our Innovative Reconciliation Plan (RAP) is currently under review, and we continue to contribute time and expertise through our involvement in the Construction Industry Indigenous Participation Reference Group (CIIPRG).
Bryant has a long history of working alongside First Nations peoples, delivering projects across regional and remote communities where collaboration, respect, and genuine partnership are essential to successful outcomes.
We are committed to strengthening our approach to Indigenous partnerships by working closely with Indigenous communities, businesses, councils, and Traditional Owners. This includes supporting meaningful opportunities in employment, training, and procurement, and ensuring culturally respectful engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
These partnerships are an important part of how we work. They reflect our belief that building with care means creating outcomes that deliver lasting value for communities, well beyond the completion of a project.
Our Reconciliation Action Plan is currently under review and renewal. The updated plan will be available shortly.
Building Together is a symbol of collaboration, respect and shared purpose. In 2020, Bryant commissioned renowned Kuku Midigi artist Arone Meeks to create an artwork representing the company’s partnership approach with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. Arone’s piece beautifully captures the meeting of land and sea — the Great Barrier Reef and ancient rainforest — and the coming together of people, culture and place.
Bryant was deeply saddened by Arone’s passing in 2021 and continues to honour his legacy through this work. Building Together remains a proud expression of connection and cooperation — a visual reminder that lasting outcomes are built when people work hand in hand, guided by mutual respect and understanding.
Bryant believes strong communities are built through connection, care and consistency. Beyond the projects we deliver, we invest in the people and places that make regional Australia thrive. Across Queensland and the Northern Territory, we proudly support local schools, charities, and events — from the Peace Lutheran College Spring Fair and the St John’s Community Care Greek Festival to the Beenleigh State High School Rugby League team and the Redcliffe Golf Fundraiser. We’ve also raised awareness and funds for causes including Breast Cancer Awareness and The Kids’ Cancer Project, among others.
We’re equally proud supporters of local sport, the arts and community life — backing teams like the Aurukun Rugby League in Cape York, the Stratford Dolphins, the Yarrabah Seahawks and the Cairns Indoor Premier Soccer League, as well as champion weightlifter Nikky Swanson on the Sunshine Coast. Bryant has also long supported the Cairns Choral Society, helping bring productions to life for the enjoyment of the wider community. Every partnership, sponsorship and initiative reflects our belief that building together goes beyond construction — it’s about creating opportunities, celebrating community and leaving a lasting legacy wherever we work.
We’re always looking for ways to give back to the regions that support us.
